Innovation - The Oxfam Jerry Bucket
The Oxfam Bucket has for many years been a near ubiquitous feature in humanitarian responses for two decades, and has been adopted by many agencies including the UNHCR, the Red Cross, the IRC and countless others. We have recently replaced it with a redesigned version, the Oxfam Jerry Bucket.
This video tells the story about how and why we developed the Oxfam Bucket, and its successor the Jerry Bucket. It provides a fascinating deep dive into Oxfam's innovation process and the challenges of providing safe drinking water to the people who need it most.
