Oxfam Tank kit, 45 m³

The Oxfam Steel Tank was developed and first used in the field in the 1980s. It has been a constant and reliable part of emergency water distributions systems in every response since. When erected carefully, with good technical supervision, and when maintained these tanks can remain in service for decades.

Each T45 Oxfam steel tank kit is supplied as the following three pieces:

1. Code: T45S - Set of corrugated steel sheets to make a round, rigid, water tank 6.44 m
2. Code: T45L1 - PVC Liner kit with all accessories, fittings, PPE, tools, and water level indicator kit.
3. Code TSLR - Low profile, steel roof kit, with tools and PPE

• The Tank Liner kit contains all nuts and bolts for the steels and includes minimum tools for assembly of the steels and roof. If no other tools are available on site or if a number of tanks are being installed, the Tank Tool kit is recommended.
• The tank is supplied with 3" threaded connections and gate valves.
  Note: Threaded fittings are included. If Guillemin fittings are required please order those separately.

User notes

• Where a tank is to be used for sedimentation/flocculation in the water treatment process it is recommended that a Tank Steels kit and a reinforced rubber Tank Liner kit, of the appropriate size, are ordered instead. A roof is not essential during this process.
• The Tank Plinth kit can be used to elevate the tank to increase the head/pressure in a gravity flow system.
• Ladders are recommended to help workers to get in and out during tank assembly and for cleaning/maintenance.
• Where the tank is installed on a concrete slab base the Anchor Bolt kit is required.
