We source our equipment through a transparent and competitive procurement process, in strict accordance with Oxfam's international procurement policy. This includes ethical checks of suppliers such as an evaluation of fair labour practices, gender policies, child labour, and environmental policies. All spending is compliant with the most stringent donor requirements and we can provide any documentation required in the event of a donor audit.

The standard equipment in this catalogue is suitable for a wide variety of humanitarian situations and ongoing programme support. Oxfam takes a long-term approach to innovation and we focus all our efforts where there is a real unmet need. We work closely with suppliers, other agencies, academia, and the UN Clusters to develop new solutions to real problems, and only release new products when we are completely sure that they will work.
