Lightweight, water pump set with petrol engine; ideal for first phase emergency situation or where portability is required (i.e. water trucking operations) as it can be easily carried by two people.
This lightweight pump is intended for use in first phase situations (i.e. water trucking), or where water facilities are set up and dismantled rapidly (i.e. transit camps). Its durability will not be as good as the heavy-duty diesel engine pumps that Oxfam offers and so its service life will be shorter.
The pump is suitable for use as a 'trash pump' as it has good solids handling of pieces up to 8mm.
