Description
This is a rapid test, visual comparator kit for the presence of Aluminium in water and will measure the range 0 - 0.5 mg/l. The WHO guideline for drinking water is 0.1 - 0.2 mg/l.
This kit will assist the control of the water treatment process where aluminium sulphate is being used in flocculation/sedimentation. To ensure that over-dosing with alum is not occurring, the treated water should have the same concentration as the raw water. The kit consists of the viewer, colour comparator disc, test tubes, and reagent tablet.
