Description

An access point is a device that is connected to an existing network in order to provide a location with wireless internet for registered staff and guests.

 

Dual-band, 802.11ax Wave 2 2x2:2 MU-MIMO Access Point with dedicated security and RF management radio as well as integrated Bluetooth Low Energy beacon and scanning radio

 

NOTE: The unit requires an operating license to use the product. This must be ordered separately Code: AWAPL This licence is only valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, so should only be requested once the unit is ready for installation.

 

At present only Oxfam GB, America, Intermon, Novib, Australia and Canada have the enterprise agreement in place with the manufacturer to utilize the service. This item is not supplied to other agencies.

User Notes

The number of access points required will be determined by a number of factors including:

  • the size and shape of the location/office
  • construction materials of the location/office
  • number of users

It is recommended that a minimum of two are ordered for any location in case of hardware failure and for connectivity trouble-shooting.
