Pump kit that can be used to add chlorine to a piped flow at a variable rate. Suitable for use with solar powered pumping systems.
The output from a solar pumping system varies over a day and according to local cloud cover. This dosing pump takes the output signal from a flow meter and adjusts the dosing rate according to the flow volume. The concentration of chlorine in the water flow will therefore remain constant.
Pump and accessories to enable chemical dosing of water
- Robust PE construction, UV resistant and resistant to aggressive chemicals
- Power source:12V DC
- Dosing rate will depend on the pressure in the water pipe
- Control: manual adjustment or proportional adjustment controlled by analogue (4-20 mA) or digital pulse signal from a flow meter.
- Installation kit: Suction pipe with foot valve and strainer, delivery pipe with ½" BSP(M) connection
